1U rackmount computer offers unmatched I/O expansion
Sealevel Systems, Inc. announces the Relio R4000 rackmount computer designed for use in space-critical environments. Available with up to a 1.4GHz Intel Pentium M processor, 1U rackmount computer offers exceptional performance and unprecedented I/O expansion in a 1.75” high chassis.
Sealevel Relio industrial computers are popular due to their extensive I/O expansion capabilities. The new R4000 now offers that expansion capability in a compact 1U rackmount enclosure suitable for virtually any environment. The Relio R4000 offers substantial I/O expansion capabilities and selection of processor options in a space-saving 1U rackmount enclosure. Using the popular SeaI/O family of data acquisition modules, you can select two modules to be integrated into the front. An additional two SeaI/O modules can be integrated into the rear – a total of four modules in an enclosure only 1.75″ tall.
Expansion locations on the front and rear of the R4000 allow interface to a wide variety of real world devices and sensors using Sealevel SeaI/O OEM modules. System designers can choose from a variety of I/O configurations, including serial, optically isolated inputs, Reed and Form C relay outputs, TTL interface compatible with industry standard solid-state relay racks, A/D and D/A.
Designers can choose from several processor options including 500MHz AMD Geode LX800, 1.0GHz ULV Intel Celeron M, or 1.4GHz Intel Pentium M models. Each system is packed with standard features including dual 10/100BaseT Ethernet, two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, keyboard and mouse ports, and analog video. Fanless operation is possible to 50°C. Using an embedded operating system such as Windows XPe allows applications to execute from CompactFlash for the ultimate in reliability — no moving parts. The R4000 is powered by an internal 100-240VAC power supply.
To achieve maximum reliability, the Relio R4000 supports Windows XP Embedded (XPe) and Linux operating systems running from CompactFlash. Sealevel support engineers can assist with migrating applications to the XPe platform. Optional high-temperature hard drives are available for applications requiring disk storage.
