Bending insensitive fiber cable

Shanghai Grandway Telecom Tech. Co., Ltd. introduced its new products range–bending insensitive fiber cable series. This series of fiber is Grandway totally new products range, which is added in 2008. Grandway has bought a new factory in rural area of Shanghai-SongJiang District, which is used to produced more products for the FTTH projects. Now, they are working on providing the whole products range for the FTTH PON installation. The bending insensitive fiber cable is using Fujikura tight buffered optical fiber inside, and the fiber is complying with ITU G.657A standard. The min working bending radius can be 15mm, which is half of normal optical fiber. They have figure “8″ cable , and armoured cable due to different demand, which make the fiber not easy to bend. Also, we are providing different kind of patchcords, due to different demand.

F2H A series fiber cable is designed for FTTH Indoor cable installation, it is used for in-door horizontal & vertical, high density installation. Metallic armoured cables have better mechanical properties which is to avoid any damage caused by rodent animals. Features include:

  • Small diameter, stainless steel to protect the fiber, easy to bend
  • Excellent mechanical properties to avoid any damage caused by rodent animals.
  • Optical performance and Macrobending loss performance fully compliant to ITU-T G.657 Class A single mode fiber．

F2H E series fiber cable is designed for FTTH installation, Indoor cable, Drop/Distribution cable,and it can be used with mechanical splicer. The fiber is in the center of the cable, two strengthening mandrills are on the two side of the fiber. Fiber and strengthening mandrills are coated together into fiber cable.
