GAO Comm has released a series of DLINK compatible SFPs (small form-factor pluggable). These SFPs are 100% compatible with DLINK original products. Pluggable interfaces comprise a series of technological enhancements to traditional optical or copper interfaces. First and foremost, they are very small, hot-swappable modules that can easily be removed from the host device. This simple and powerful concept allows a dramatic increase in flexibility. If the host device supports protocol transparency then one can build a tremendous variety of applications with a very small number of host system types.

Most SFP modules are optical transceivers, multimode (850nm) or single-mode (1310nm). GAO Comm supplies these modules in addition to optical transceivers at other wavelengths for use in CWDM (Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing) applications, and a wide variety of copper SFPs for various protocols. GAO Tek provides a wide range of SFP-based systems with powerful features for physical network connectivity, including media converters, distance extenders, cross-connects, Ethernet switching and routing equipment, and wave division multiplexing solutions. GAO Comm now offers these compatible DLINK transceiver models: DEM-311GT, DEM310GT, DEM-315GT, DGS-712. The Dlink Compatible DEM-310GT is a high performance 1310nm multimode/Singlemode SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver. Supporting full duplex, Gigabit speeds on multimode/Singlemode fiber for istances of up to 550m/550m/10km on 62.5/50/9 respectively. The unit features a metal housing to reduce EMI and to increase durability. The DEM-310GT is hot pluggable and is backed by a standard 2-year product warranty and free technical support.

The Dlink Compatible DEM-310GT is a high performance 1310nm multimode/Singlemode SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver.
