High precision 16 bit standard DAQ board
With this data acquisition (DAQ) board you are on the safe side. It gives you all the functions a professional DAQ board requires. In case it gets too “small” for your application one day, just replace the board with a model from the ME-FoXX family. The model ME-Jekyll ME-4610 peripheral component interconnect (PCI) board includes 16 single-ended analog inputs, external digital trigger, 32 digital I/Os (TTL level, 4x 8 bit ports, each port programmable as input or output), 3 (16 bit) counters, and PCI.
The analog inputs are 16 single-ended, features A/D conversion at 16 bit/500 kHz, 1 k FIFO (1024 values) for conversion with channel list, and external digital trigger (rising, falling, both edges). The digital I/O has 4x 8 bit TTL I/O ports, each port programmable as input/output, 2 ports on D-sub, 2 ports on IDC (on board). All lines (Clock, Gate, Out) of all counters are wired to connector. The connectors are 78-pin D-sub female connector, pin fi eld/IDC on board (2x 8 bit TTL digital I/O ports C/D). A flat ribbon cable with 25-pin D-sub female and slot bracket (ME AK-D25F/S) is included; uses a second PC slot space (no PCI bus required). Software on the CD includes driver and configuration tool for Windows XP, 2000 and GNU Linux 2.6., program examples, MEsslabor (DAQ lab) software for Windows, Visual C/C++, VEE Pro (Windows), LabVIEW (Windows, Linux), Python, Java supported. Advantages include full compatibility of connectivity, software and functionality. Just add the new functions, or expand the board up to 256 analog inputs, using a ME-MUX32 analog multiplexer!
