New vision sensor inspects areas at any position or rotation of the part
SICK, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, today announced the launch of its Inspector Vision Sensor. Innovative technology from SICK enables the Inspector to verify completeness and quality no matter what orientation your product comes down the line… even if products vary in size by as much as 20%, something no other vision sensor can do.
The vision sensor is an intelligent vision solution in an easy-to-use sensor package. No matter what angle or orientation the product comes down the line, the Inspector is able to verify completeness and quality. The Inspector provides a simple pass/fail output, ensuring only the correct product makes it through. Plus, the Inspector is fast, able to keep up to the quickest line speeds. The Inspector is robust – with a metal housing and IP 67 enclosure rating. The Inspector Vision Sensor is able to store up to 16 objects in its memory and perform up to 32 inspections on each.
