Simple point & click operation with 8-position network switch

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 7810 Single-Channel, 8-Position, HD-15 Switch with Password-Protected 10 BaseT/100 Base TX LAN Access. The switch may also be operated via a front panel pushbutton. The Model 7810 enables sharing a single port HD-15 interface device connected to the COMMON port among eight other devices.

With the Model 7810’s Point & Click operation, the user can easily monitor switch status, control switch functions, lock/unlock front-panel access and configure the LAN Access port. Reliability is built-in with all switch signals being passed via copper contact relays that maintain their position and continuity in the event of a power loss. The PathWay® Model 7810 8-to-1 HD-15 Switch with 10 BaseT/100 BaseTX LAN Access, allows the user the capability of sharing a single port HD-15 interface device connected to the “COMMON” port among eight other devices connected to the Channel 1-8 ports with local and remote access functionality. Remote access can be accomplished by a 10-Base-T/100 Base Tx connection.

Proper authentication is required for remote access via the 10 BaseT/100 BaseTX connection. Users can remotely monitor status, control switch functions, lock/unlock front panel access and configure the LAN Access port.
